We are excited to share a special journey we will be taking in January 2027. Along with Rick and my two girls, I will be traveling to Kenya to serve the children at the Jabali Center. This trip holds a deep meaning for us as we will not only engage in meaningful service but also hold a unique activity called the I Love Us Project LEGO event. One of the highlights will be meeting our sponsored daughter, Prisca, in person. This experience offers a chance to bring joy, creativity, and connection to the children through the universal language of play.

Why This Trip Matters
The Jabali Center supports many children who face daily challenges, including limited access to educational and recreational resources. Our visit aims to provide more than just toys; it is about sharing love, hope, and encouragement. LEGO bricks are more than plastic pieces — they are tools for imagination, problem-solving, and teamwork. By organizing the I Love Us Project LEGO activity, we hope to inspire creativity and build confidence in each child.
Meeting Prisca, our sponsored daughter, will be a powerful moment for our family. Sponsorship connects us across continents and cultures, showing how individual support can change lives. This trip will deepen our understanding of the community and strengthen the bonds formed through sponsorship.
How You Can Help Bring LEGO to the Children
We want to take enough LEGO sets so that every child at the Jabali Center can participate in the activity. This goal comes with a significant cost, and we are seeking sponsors to help us make it happen. Here’s how you can contribute:
$50 Donation
Your name will be recognized as a donor on a box of LEGO. This personal touch connects you directly to the joy you help create.
$200 Donation
In addition to the donor recognition, you will receive a special handmade gift from Kenya when we return. These gifts reflect the culture and craftsmanship of the local community.
$500 Donation
You will receive all of the above plus a very special gift from Kenya, reserved for our most generous supporters.
Every donation helps us bring light and love through LEGO to children who need it most. Your support will create lasting memories and opportunities for growth.
What the I Love Us Project LEGO Activity Will Look Like
The activity is designed to be inclusive and fun, encouraging children to express themselves through building. We will:
Organize small groups so every child gets hands-on time with LEGO bricks.
Guide children to build projects that represent their dreams, families, or favorite things.
Share stories about Tanner’s love and how creativity can bring people together.
Capture moments of joy and teamwork to share with our supporters.
This approach ensures that the activity is not just play but a meaningful experience that fosters connection and self-expression.
The Impact of Your Support
Your sponsorship will directly impact the children’s experience at the Jabali Center. Here are some ways your help makes a difference:
Access to Quality Materials
Providing enough LEGO bricks means no child feels left out or rushed. Each child can explore their creativity fully.
Building Confidence
Completing a LEGO project gives children a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Encouraging Teamwork
Working in groups teaches cooperation and communication skills.
Creating Lasting Memories
The joy and excitement of the activity will stay with the children long after we leave.
By joining us, you become part of a story of hope and love that crosses borders.

Looking Forward to January 2027
As the trip approaches, we are preparing with excitement and care. We are gathering LEGO bricks, planning the activity, and learning about the community to serve them better. Meeting Prisca will be a highlight that reminds us why this work matters.
We invite you to join us in this journey, whether through sponsorship, sharing this message, or simply holding the children of Jabali in your thoughts. Together, we can bring love and light through LEGO to Kenya’s children.
Let’s build something beautiful, one brick at a time.
